  • Solar Installation and Maintenance:

Do you know that at the end of this program?

  1. The trainee should understand and identify the various types of solar panels: Polycrystalline, Amorphous and Monocrystalline Technologies & independently carry out installation works & render maintenance services.
  2. Sizing of solar panels.
  3. Parallel, series and parallel-series connection of panels.
  4. Understanding, sizing, and installation of solar charge controllers; how to install inverter and deep cycle batteries.
  5. Roof mounting techniques and accessories.
  6. Energy Efficiency, Energy Auditing, System Design.
  7. Understanding inverter load and power estimation and calculations.
  8. Learn about batteries technology and types of batteries.
  9. Understand types of inverters and specification.
  10. Basic semi-conductor devices.
  11. Be introduced to electrical circuit design.
    1. Write solar business proposal. After the program, you understand better how Solar works, how businesspeople analyze the photo voltaic market, its evolution, and perspectives. Through field work with your instructor, you become an expert, you become mentally and technologically empowered, happy, you can confidently work for companies and establish your own business with confidence in your daily activities. You are disciplined emotionally & otherwise, self-employed, financially independent and train others by sharing your knowledge.
  • Electrical Installation and Maintenance Works:

This trade has three certifiable modules, and they are listed below:

  • Domestic Installation and Maintenance
  • Industrial Installation and Maintenance
  • Rewinding of Electrical Machines

After the program, you become mentally-, electrically- and technologically empowered, happy, confident in your activities, disciplined emotionally & otherwise, self-employed, financially independent and train others by sharing your knowledge.

  • DOMESTIC INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE (EEC 541)

CSIF provide her trainees with the knowledge and skills to enable them carry out complete electrical installation in a residential building.

At the end of this program, the student should at least:

  1. Interpret electrical working design
  2. Identify and follow safety rules
  3. Install different types of domestic surface wiring
  4. Install different types of domestic conduit wiring
  5. Identify electrical protective devices and install them
    1. Inspect and test domestic installations. After the program, you become mentally-, electrically- and technologically empowered, happy, confident in your activities, disciplined emotionally & otherwise, self-employed, financially independent and train others by sharing your knowledge.
CSIF ELECTRICAL LAB
  1. INDUSTRIAL INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE (EEC 542).

The students of CSIF obtain the knowledge and skill that enable them carry out all types of industrial/factory electrical installations and maintenance.

At the completion of this program, they can:

  1. Identify different types of industrial installation
  2. Describe the installation of different types of ducts and trucking, applying all relevant regulations and safety precautions
  3. Explain the principle of operation of AC and DC machines and their applications
  4. Install all types of electrical machines independently
  5. Identify various methods of controlling electrical machines
  6. Explain methods of maintaining electrical machines
  7. Diagnose faults in machines and installation
    1. Install MICC cable. After the program, you become mentally and technologically empowered, happy, confident in your activities, disciplined emotionally & otherwise, self-employed, financially independent and train others by sharing your knowledge.
  • REWINDING OF ELECTRICAL MACHINES (EEC 543):

STUDENTS OF CSIF achieve the knowledge and skills that enable them wind or rewind AC and DC rotating/static machines up to 10KVA.

After this program, the trainee can:

  1. Apply all statutory regulations during electrical winding work.
  2. Identify and set appropriate tools and equipment’s used for winding job,
  3. Displays Skills for preparation and interpretation of winding drawing,
  4. Demonstrate skills for dismantling machines for rewinding them,
  5. Carry out the rewinding of burnt static/rotating machines
  6. Explain skimming/undercutting of armature, commutator and slip ring
    1. Rewind electrical machine, equipment and test for continuity, insulation, correct rotating voltage. After the program, you become mentally and technologically empowered, happy, confident in your activities, disciplined emotionally & otherwise, self-employed, financially independent and train others by sharing your knowledge.
