Garment Making

At the end of this program, the trainee can:

  1. Describe and classify the tools used in garment making
  2. Identify different size and type of sewing needles and threads
  3. Assemble, dissemble, and carry out minor repairs and maintenance on any type of sewing machine (example cleaning and oiling of important parts of sewing machine by the trainee). 
  4. Take direct body measurement, explaining the proportionate figure and figure types.
  5. Cut patterns using appropriate equipment and materials.
    1. Draft patterns for dresses with hip, yoke, style lines and manipulate basic skirts to produce wrap round, four, six and eight gored skirts; Become happy, socially & emotionally empowered, self-employed, financially independent and train others by sharing your knowledge.

  5. How to create interactive and responsive website templates.
  6. To use colors, text, pictures, etc. to achieve a set objective there by having a basic knowledge of graphics.
  7. To create and upload contents to a local site.
  8. To publish websites after designing.
  9. To know error code and what they signify, how to interprets and troubleshoot them as well.
